Just watched the 1st episode of the 16th season of Biggest Loser.  I sure have been watching a lot of TV...not good.  But on the upside, it has provided me the motivation to work out and become a better me as well.

One thing the new trainer, Jen Widerstrom said that stuck with me is:  In life, there are 2 places people operate from - fear or love.

I found that to be quite profound.  Such a wise and beautiful lady, lol.  A new role model!

Another thing that had an impact on me from this episode was of the oldest man on the season who lost his son in the army?  or something.  Anyways, he said how his son would hear about the fastest runner or about a guy who could do the most push ups.  Upon hearing that, his son took it as a challenge to beat the one who was the best at something.  Sounded a little egotistic, but pretty inspiring as well.  The father was talking to Dolvett and said, "I hope you can see my son in me [when I am conquering these workouts]".

That made me tear up.  I can only imagine what it's like to lose a child...
